GOLF FITNESS HANDICAP
A Simple Score That Shows How Prepared Your Body Is
WHAT IT SHOWS
Three Dimensions of Readiness
Physical Capacity
How well the body can move and produce force.
Consistency of Training
Whether the required work is being done reliably.
Readiness for Higher Demand
The ability to tolerate more complex swing and training loads.
A higher handicap signals physical limitations. A lower handicap reflects increasing freedom, durability, and progression potential.
HOW IT WORKS
One Integrated System
The Golf Fitness Handicap operates as a single mechanism built from three connected layers.
A Standardized Physical Assessment
The system begins with 10 standardized tests, scored on a 5-point scale and adjusted for golfer type (male, female, junior, senior).
5 Mobility Tests
- Joint access
- Posture
- Control
- Movement quality
- Symmetry
5 Fitness Tests
- Strength
- Power
- Athleticism
- Endurance
- Speed
The ten scores combine into a 50-point assessment that forms the foundation of the Handicap.

TRAINING CYCLES
Assess, Train, Retest, Adjust
The DRVN system runs in consistent six-week cycles. Progress is recognized only when improvement is verified through reassessment.
Assess
Establish baseline through standardized mobility and fitness testing.
Train
Athletes train with a clear focus for the cycle based on assessment results.
Retest
Both Mobility and Fitness are retested under the same conditions after six weeks.
Adjust
Programming adapts based on verified progress. Category advancement unlocks.
Category advancement remains locked until retesting occurs — ensuring progression reflects real, repeatable change.
REGULAR SCORING
Consistency Is the Currency
Between formal assessments, the Handicap evolves through a 72-hour rolling scoring system that reflects consistency.
No Activity Logged
No training or mobility submitted within 72 hours adds one shot to your handicap.
Training Submitted
Completing and logging a training or mobility session removes one shot.
Daily scoring adjusts the Handicap within a category. Movement between categories still requires formal retesting.
