You want to know how well your body works for your Golf Swing and you are capable of in Golf Fitness right?
You also don't wan to be rolling around on the floor for 40 minutes being contorted in embarrassing positions to do it it though right?
Welcome to the DRVN Mobility Assessment!
This will take you 10 minutes, you can do it on your own, with your Golf Coach or with a Fitness Trainer and with 5 simple movements you will understand how your body moves and what that means for your golf swing potential.
We break your movements down into the 5 fundamental elements of the Golf Swing:
Setup - Back Swing - Down Swing - Impact - Finish
Now, about those 3 P's,
1 - Performance:
As Mobility improves, Golf Swing potential increases.
With improved Mobility, the player can now achieve new positions specific to the golf swing allowing for the creation of a more optimal movement pattern relative to that individuals overall physiology.
Combined with a stronger Mind-Body connection, improvements through the Physical aspects of the Golf Swing can be combined with skill based improvements leading to clear and trackable improvements in
Golf Performance.
More Club Head Speed, improved Ball Striking and a greater level of all round consistency.
Improvements for Golfers at all levels, the ability to Assess, Track and Improve is incredibly valuable.
Mobility = Performance
2 - Prevention:
Specifically, Injury Prevention.
This should make sense immediately for Golfers and Coaches because if the Body is working better, the chances of Golf Swing Injuries, Aches and Pains (non-golf too) is going to go down.
This is why Mobility, not just Flexibility, is so important for Golfers and incredible valuable for everyone involved.
If a Muscle can work through it’s fundamental range of motion, movement patterns are controlled to load joints effectively and the Club Head is delivered into the Ball accurately, the Golf Swing and Body as a whole is working optimally giving the best chance of Longevity and Performance on the course.
The DRVN Mobility Assessment will also be an incredible tool to highlight and assess Injuries and create a pathway back to full health.
Quality Movement, More Golf.
3 - Progress:
A better Golf Swing in less time? Absolutely.
In so many cases, Mobility can be the limiting factor for Golfers of all levels meaning lessons, coaching and practice might be limited at best and completely ineffective at worst.
For Golfers themselves, this is hugely frustrating, time consuming and ultimately leaves them making significantly less progress than they would like to.
For Coaches, this can be a very tricky situation to manage and the ability to deliver a clear strategy with a vision of the player becomes even more valuable.
With greater Mobility, the Golfer has a greater chance of being able to achieve the desired changes that will make them a better player.
Highlighting these key areas of improvement with the DRVN Mobility Assessment opens up significant opportunities for Players and Coaches alike to train high quality movement patterns and develop consistent results in any Golf Swing.
More Progress, less Time.
